The U.S. government has made it possible for Ukrainian citizens who are in the U.S. as of April 11, 2022, regardless of their status, to apply for TPS.
TPS - Temporary Protected Status.
Along with TPS, you can apply for a work permit.
Processing time of 6 to 12 months.
If you were in the U.S. on April 11, 2022, you may qualify for TPS status, which will be in effect until October 19, 2023.
To obtain TPS status, you must complete Form I-821 by creating an account on the USCIS website.
